Seven of us left Dobbies in Stirling at 9:15, Peter, Ali, Grant, Andy, Marcus, Robin and friend Frank. Headed up A84 through Callander, weather was sunny in places but not too warm, still there was no rain and that was a welcome change!
On up to Falls Of Dochart at Killin for a leg stretch. Pass Loch Tay and followed the south road along Loch Rannoch and round the end of the Loch to pick up the only road (dead end) to Rannoch Station. Welcome lunch at the tea room, Peter had remembered to book as space there is very limited.
Off again along the north side of Loch Rannoch and followed Loch Tummel to visit Clunie Memorial Arch, one of this year’s challenge sites. On down the A9 to Ballinluig Services for fuel then to Aberfeldy and Crief where we split between those going East or back to Dobbies Stirling. Good run, mix of roads about 180 miles.
Thanks to Peter for organising the route and leading the run, and to Ali for being TEC for the day.

Thanks for the report Marcus, hopefully Andy and Frank will join.
A great day out on the bikes, and dry for a change.
Yes booking is essential for Ranoch Tearoom, and final numbers by phone on the day if they change.
Thanks to Ali for TECing and everyone else for making it an enjoyable day.
We couldn’t wish for better weather: not a single drop of rain all day long. Great run and great company to share the day with. Thank you everyone.
