DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 8/07/2026\nDepart Dobbies Stirling 10.00am\nFinish Crieff Visitor Centre \nHeading west for lunchtime stop at The Blairmore Cafe on the shores of Loch Long. Roughly the route will be to Balloch\, Faslane\, Arrochar\, Cairndow then direction Dunoon. DESCRIPTION:Old Boat of Caol Run\nTuesday 14th July\n09.45 for 10.00am start at Crieff Visitor Centre\nFinish Crieff Visitor Centre \nEnthused by our Waverley sighting this week another boat themed SMC run.\nThis will take us north to Aberfeldy\, Trinafour and a short A9 stint to Dalwhinnie and a coffee stop / leg stretch at The Laggan Bothy.\nThen it’s the A86 to Spean Bridge and on to An Cafaidh Mara Corpach near Fort William for coffee / lunch and sightseeing stop to see the boat!\nWe’ll head south after that\, through Glencoe\, Tyndrum\, Crianlarich\, Lochearnhead and back to Crieff. DESCRIPTION:2026 Jules Rimet Run\nSunday 19th July\nStart Dobbies Stirling 10am for 10.15 start\nFinish Dobbies Stirling approx 3pm \nOn this ‘Final’ day of the World Cup I thought we’d go in search of the original trophy which was stolen and never recovered. I doubt we’ll find it on our run but it seemed like as good as an excuse as any to get out on the bikes! \nStarting at Dobbies\, we’ll make our exit a bit easier for a change by turning left towards Stirling\, head down to Denny then through the Carron Valley\, on to Aberfeldy then Inversnaid on the banks of Loch Lomond for leg stretch and photo stop. We’ll backtrack to Aberfeldy for coffee / lunch stop then it’s up over the Dukes Pass to Kilmahog\, Callander\, Doune and finish back at Dobbies. \nA short run of just 100 miles\, 3 1/2 hours ride time. \nRoute here:- https://maps.app.goo.gl/mwP2SmdvAL8yqy5r5?g_st=ic
