CHAS Easter Run

Run date John Hill 09.04.23

A good turn out for our annual joining in on Carron Valley Motorcycle Club’s CHAS Easter Run. 14 of us met at Bowtrees Services and headed for the start at the Falkirk Wheel car park; only to be beaten in to getting there by the Curvey Riders, who obviously took a less scenic route!
It was a good turn out in the Spring sunshine with hundreds of bikes there of all different types to wander round and admire and also catch up with old friends. At least we had the Curvey Riders to follow on the parade to Kinross !!
After Kinross we had a pleasant run to our usual lunch stop at The Hayloft in Falkland where we enjoyed some good food, coffees and banter. Ali Lazizi a prospective new member was there waiting for us as he had missed joining Peter and the rest of us at the start.
Then it was on to Marco’s Cafe in Kincardine to finish the run, and for some, more tea/coffees and cakes for those that could mange it. Ali decided to join the Club, so we must be doing something right!
An enjoyable social day out for all of us meeting up again at the beginning of the season.
Thanks to Gordon Robertson for being tec. John Hill was the leader and followed in no particaular order by David Jerome, Frank Dolan, Kenny Anderson, Peter Johnson, Ian Ness, Marc Elvin, Ross Muir, Alex Cowie, Bill Pearson, Neil Johnson, Andrew Claridge, Ian Jones, Ali Lazizi.
